Wowsers... I mean holy freeking tollie and double wowsers with bells on...
It could only happen in Amigaland
Someone claimed they paid someone to re-code and update an old rendering program that's about 180 years out of date...
The someone who took pre order dosh from some other someones about two years ago and the someones who paid pre order money never got anything from the someone as some other someone never wrote the code...
Then someone who is a friend of someone took it upon himself to attack someone publicly saying he was sick of his friend being screwed by someone...
That someone who was defending someone the locked out everyone as he shut down Amiga.org for a wee time while he sulked in the corner...
Then someone spoke nonsense to sulky someone and someone opened up the site again to almost everyone (cept me co I'm still banned)...
Finally someone decided it was time to retire and handed Amiga.org over to someone else...
Phew...
Now could someone please give me one, just one good reason why the Amiga community is NOT the dumbest, most sorriest biggest ever joke in the entire history of home computing...
PS: To Tedd Gallion and I mean this sincerely... Thank you for giving me just over two years of the best entertainment I have ever found on the net, from the great Wayne Hunt erm... hunt, to willing to sell me Amiga.org at a price where I'd have to have been as crazy as you to buy it and all the other nonsense in between (getting banned by mods and Bill sneakily overturning it, CUSA Threads, Giving me sneaky inside info etc...)
It's a shame to see you go as your occasional and very deliberate wind up threads really brought the place to life and got the natives knickers in a twist much to the delight of myself. I doubt Bill can fill your shoes in that role (he's just too damn nice for his own good)...
Anywhoo... Wishing you all the best in your "retirement" and now you can just like me sit back and watch it all from the outside and be thoroughly entertained at the complete lunacy that is Amigaland...
