I've been saying it for along time now, that Tedd Gallion was only pushing CUSA threads onto the home page in order to keep up site traffic figures... Wink

Looks like old Teddy boy was right, CUSA threads do indeed increase site traffic figures on Amiga.org as can be seen from the average site traffic figures in the past week when no CUSA threads have been on the front page so to speak compared to recently when they were...

The average site traffic figures just now is around 150 to 160 and when it's all about CUSA on the homepage the average figure was around 230...

Also most noticeable are the certain regular and more vocal members of a.org who post like their lives depend on it when a CUSA thread is about but kinda slink away into the background when there is none and the talk is back to real Amigas subjects (they know who they are)... Wink

Still, you have to wonder though, is it really worth the damage it does to have CUSA threads just to increase site traffic...

Maybe for the site owners in the short term from ad revenue but no way for the members who want to talk about real Amiga stuff... Wink

Guess it all comes down to those who really are genuine active Amiga users and those who used to be but still hang around the site to gibber about anything that they can (as long as it not Amiga) as they've got nowhere else to go and CUSA topics are the only thing left for them to gibber about...
